I have to say that so far this has been my favorite books out of all of LeAnn Ashers series, then again, every time I read a new one of any of them it kind of become my favorite book.  I think the reason why this one is FAVE is that I have been reading about Liam since the first series LeAnn wrote and is like watching your own kid growing in front of your eyes.

Is astonishing the way LeAnn has written this character because it has been developing accordingly with the situations and the life he has been exposed to live. Firs, the abuse, and abandonment when he was barely 17, then, the violence of the cartel towards Paisley and other people in town. After this, he decides to serve as a Marine and when he comes back to finally be with Paisley, they find themselves in the eye of the Cartel that has been trying to seize the town for a while now, or so they thought.

Paisley has been waiting to finally have Liam for herself and give herself to him, but the Cartel situation is kind of trying to get in the middle of it. Torch, her dad, doesn't know how to let his daughter go and make her life with this amazing man, let's face it, no dad would be willing to give his daughter away. Not even if the man she loves is the one that saved her life from the Cartel eight years ago.  

A lot of surprising and unexpected things are thrown in the middle of this couple fighting to fall in love and getting to know each other once more.  It is a book that you will not be able to put down, is that intense and good.  A definite must-read.
