REVIEW: SLADE (WALK OF SHAME BOOK #1) BY VICTORIA ASHLEY

BETH'S REVIEW

SLADE (WALK OF SHAME BOOK #1)
BY VICTORIA ASHLEY

4 STARS

Sexy and hot as hell.  This story about two hurt souls, one closed to love again and the other lost because she haven't experience real love.

Slade is a stripper, but not a regular one, he has a background, one that no one knows. Because of it the only way pain goes away getting laid all over the place. The guy has one rule he just spends one night with each woman.

On the other hand we have Aspen, hurt by a boyfriend that doesn't appreciate her and likes to fool around with other women. He seems abusive even. Her childhood friend, Cale, was kind enough to let her stay with him while she sorts out her life.  The problem is Slade is Cale's roommate and when Aspen arrives he finds out she's the girl he was attracted to in The Walk Of Shame, and sparks fly.

They want each other. She despises herself for that, she watched him and he is a player. What Aspen doesn't know is that without him wanting to, he's starting to break those walls around her heart.

Is a great sexy, hot story with great characters and I have to say I laughed a lot with the bantering between this two.  Will they surpass their hurt and loss in time to not loose the opportunity at real love?
