REVIEW: WHISKEY SECRETS (WHISKEY AND LIES BOOK #1) BY CARRIE ANN RYAN

BETH'S REVIEW

WHISKEY SECRETS
BY CARRIE ANN RYAN

5 STARS

Carrie Ann Ryan does it again. I love the amazing story teller that she is, and in this new spin off of the Montgomery Ink Series, Whiskey and Lies, Carrie Ann introduces us to the Collins, Tabby Collins three brothers.

For this first installment of the series we get to meet Dare, sexy, brooding bartender, bar and restaurant owner.  He operates the bar and restaurant from the first floor of his parents buisness, The Whiskey Inn.  His parents want to start planning their retirement, and for that they employ Kenzie, a troubled city girl that has some problems of her own.  Kenzie accepts the job on Whiskey to try to start again a new life, far from her previous life.  She is not looking for love, but to start anew. They are both strong willed people, will they give space so they are able to be happy.  The rest of the character the book are amazing, they are really great friends to the main characters and their family is like a united front, just like our loving Montgomerys.

Meanwhile Dare has started his own businesses to try to forget his previous job, in which he got hurt and decided he was not going to return to it. He is a very worried man and sees himself as cause of everything that happens around him. When is time to meet Kenzie, something his parents decided without telling anyone, sparks fly between both of them.

This two have a lot to loose by getting together, or at least they see it that way? What they don't see is that they have a lot more to gain if they let themselves see things as they really are?  Will his family accept Kenzie? What will happen with his kid's mother?

I read this book in a day and a half, I definitely could not put it down.  The way Carrie Ann Ryan brings this characters to life makes you feel like you are part of their world. Praises to the amazing writing she has, and may you are able to keep this amazing stories alive for a long time.
