Almost three years ago, a car crash took Audrey’s dad and scarred her for life. Now eighteen, she returns to her hometown for the first time after the accident.
She’s here to start again. Go to college and have fun. Make new friends. Get over the past.
But the past won’t let go.

Asher is here—her first kiss, her first heartbreak. More handsome and distant than ever, he’s still the boy who used to be her best friend. That was before he changed into someone she hardly knows anymore—the boy who started getting into fights and gave her the cold shoulder for years.

Asher isn’t what she needs. In fact, she hates him and should try her best to keep away from him.
Yet her body doesn’t seem to care about how she feels, and maybe, just maybe this time her body got it right. Not that she has much of a choice. Asher draws her like a bright flame, and if she isn’t careful, she’ll burn.

And that may not be such a bad thing after all...

Just done with Kiss Me Goodbye and Asher, and it doesn't surprise me ASHER is a top 100 on New York Times and USA Today bestseller!  Is a very heart breaking story with a happy ending. One that a lot of young people can relate to, even though sadly not many of them get the love and support Asher discovered he had always, but didn't recognize because of his suffering.

Amazing story and excellently written, great progression and the interactions between the characters in each story,  and between all the characters throughout the 2 books, are flawless. A topic very well researched, it feels very realistic as you progress reading the book, Jo Raven my hat's off to you.

Four years have passed since I left home, my parents, and my brother Asher behind – since I shut out my past. And Erin. Four years since I last saw her, since I heard her voice and held her in my arms. I’ve spent my time forging a path from woman to woman, from bed to bed, trying to find an answer. But I think I’ve lost my way. There’s no light at the end of the dark.
No big surprise. I carry the dark inside me. I’m a bastard – branded as such from the start. I never give my phone number and address. I take my pleasure, and don’t come back for seconds. No commitments, no promises and no happy endings. Yeah, I’m a bastard down to the bone and I don’t give a damn.

But now I’m back in my birth town, the town I fled at eighteen – back to make amends to the brother I abandoned and watch from afar the only girl I’ve ever wanted. Hope isn’t a currency I can afford. I learned that lesson long ago. Yet when she looks at me and says my name, I can’t help but hope.

I'm completely in love with this series and with Jo Raven's writing.
Boy did I cry, even more that when I cried reading Asher.

The characters portrayed in Jo Raven's books have very realistic characteristics.
She gives us characters with complex personality, but with hearts of gold.
This guys are thicker than blood, the bond they share is only challenged by that of real brothers.  The girls are strong and support them beautifully.
As I've said before the talent that Jo has to keep the story flowing from one book to the other is just ridiculous.
The characters in this series have had a rough life, have to overcome many adversities: economic, psychological, in love and all other aspects of life.  Jo takes us in a roller coaster, my emotions where all over the place. I laughed, cried, and got mad as hell.

Tyler is another great book in this spectacular serial created by Author Josephine (Jo) Raven.  Is a book everyone should buy.  And I hope you do and enjoy it as much as I did.  I bid you goodreads.

They call me Zen-man, the cool-headed one, the protector. I keep an eye out for everyone, take them in, find them homes. They think I’m the calm and collected one, the self-assured one, the one who knows the way. They think they see me. They think they know me.
But they’re all wrong, because inside I’m broken. I have a jagged hole in my soul I can’t fix, a festering blackness. I’ve been to the pits of hell, and nobody comes back unscathed. Life in foster care fucked me up, and now a thread is all that’s holding me together.   So I sleep around and never date, keeping chicks away. One day I’ll snap, and when I do, there’s no telling who I might take down with me.

All the same, there’s this one girl who won’t be scared away. Dakota. She’s hot, and I won’t deny I want her. But she keeps coming back, pushing me, trying to get me to talk, to open up to her. She has no idea she’s playing with fire. When the demons come, she’d better be far away from me, just like everyone else.

A box of tissues and then some, you'll need as you read Zane.

Jo Raven delivers again, a story full of drama, and heartache, but also of redemption, acceptance of self and circumstances, hope, love and new beginings.  The story brings back characters from previous stories, and is the most powerful of them yet.  Zane goes has gone trough a lot during his childhood, negative turned positive by one of the best.

Zane is the father figure of this brotherhood, we have seen him help Asher and Tyler, and since they were in school, also Dylan and Rafe.

He is going through a rough time, family related, in comes Dakota, with a very positive attitude towards life, wanting nothing less tan to know and be let in completely inside Zane's heart, but the thing is that Dakota secretly carries her own brand of pain.

Will this two damaged souls be able to mend one another?

Jo Raven has become one of the best authors telling stories of pain and survival.

BRAVO JO RAVEN!!!!!

When you’ve tried your best for years and never managed to please your demanding parents… When you’ve fallen head over heels for someone who keeps ignoring you… When you’ve hit rock bottom. Tessa is this close to giving up – on her authoritative parents and their demands, on her studies, on everything in her life.
Including Dylan. The one boy she has loved since she can remember. The one who dated her and promised her forever when they were fourteen, and then dumped her without an explanation only to ignore her ever since.

The one who shows up to save her from violence before the stroke of midnight, who kisses her and holds her close, only to tell her in the course of the same night he doesn’t love her.
Tessa knows Dylan has gone through some tough times, and they’re only getting tougher - but is he telling the truth about his lack of feelings for her, or is he running from his own demons?

The way Tessa sees it, she has two options: run away, leaving it all behind - or stay to fight against her controlling family, and win back Dylan. She has a feeling he needs her, and how can she leave when he's the only man who’s ever made her feel alive?

If u know Jo Raven, you know this are her babies. I thought at first, in Asher and Tyler, hmmm Dylan doesn't sound that much in here, the Zane came and BOOM, Dylan was exposed in a way that made me crave for his story.
And let me tell you, it ripped my heart. The life that boy and Tessa, for that matter, have to leave. The sacrifices , the pain, and finally the acceptance of love over betrayal and abandonment.
Dylan is practically a father at 19 raising his brothers, when he still needs to be helped to grow emotionally.  The emotional turmoil that he leaves because of his parents decision. The thought of not being enough to deserve love, them to the point of believing there's noone for you.
Tessa, wow, what a strong character she is, all the money, none of the love and support a family should give. To the point of believing that she has to be what everyone expects and not what she wants to be, and what she needs and craves, being seen, believing that she maters.
A very emotional roller coaster, as she has lead to expect from her. Loved this one, it surprised me, particularly Tessa.  Bravo Jo Raven is gonna do great, as well as the other have. All the accolades are well deserved, spectacular writing.
Now I need Rafe, soon please!! Lol

His name is Rafaele Vestri, Rafe to his friends.
He’s tall, strong, handsome. Distant. He often comes to the coffee shop where I work, but we don’t talk much. He looks at me, though. Stares at me, his gaze heated, and I can’t help but stare back. I want him, I won’t deny it. I’ve never seen anyone that beautiful, anyone that powerful, in my life.

But he’s growing more withdrawn by the day. Something’s up, and he won’t tell. I know about his past—the murder of his family when he was fifteen. I can imagine how much it must have cost him. So much violence contained in that strong body, waiting to be unleashed. What is he seeking? What is he training so hard for? Why is he looking at me like he’s dying to touch me, but won’t dare?

Even as I try to stop thinking about him, get interested in other boys, I realize I can’t. I’m caught, body and soul, just like that. And I tell myself, Megan, girl… What have you gotten yourself into this time?

In this last book of the Ink Brotherhood series Jo Raven outdid herself, the broken man that is Rafaele Vestri finally is revealed to us, and in what an amazing way. Tortured soul, with a kind heart, makes you love him even more than you thought possible. He is the protector, one that needs to be protected from himself.

Megan is a girl broken by an unfit mother that brought her up in a world no child should ever experience. Running away from it all, and from a man she fears to the point of panic, she settles to live in Madison. We have seen bits of her in some of the previous books, but it is a great surprise how she turns out to be. Strong, independent and stubborn, and thank God for that because she will need it to deal with RAFE.

Did I say sexy, brooding, alpha and with 2 sexy as hell surprises for you all to find out? Sorry for leaving that out. Intrigued? Interested? You have to buy this one to discover the amazing man RAFE turns out to be. Can love make this man believe there is kindness in his heart, and that he is deserving of love and happiness? Can Megan be happy and safe ever again?

This is a must read, I have told you I love this series for a lot of reasons, but the main one is the way Jo makes this broken and vulnerable characters become alive, healed and feel deserving of the people they have rooting out for them. Is an amazing end to an amazing series. Congrats Jo on a book excellently written and on a job magnificently done. All that is left to say is bring the Damage Boys!!! Ready for them when you are.

This book is a must have, and if you are new to Jo's world experience Asher, Tyler, Zane and Dylan too you won't regret it, scouts honor, lol. 1-click it!!!
