REVIEW: SHANE (DAMAGE CONTROL #4) BY JO RAVEN

BETH'S REVIEW
DAMAGE CONTROL BOOK #4
BY JO RAVEN

4 STARS

I was amazed at how good this story is.  Shane is a very special kid a fighter, he lost and got robbed of so much in life.  He is really damaged and has to deal with the fact he doesn't feel worthy of being loved by anyone. He thinks he is guilty of what was done to him and because of that he isolates himself from all his friend and the only family he has left.

Cassie has been drilled in her head that she is dumb and stupid, that she is easy and should just use men. When she meets Shane everything she has been thought is questioned.  She was really hurt when she was little and Shane's situation get her mentally back to what she lived in the past.

Will Shane conquer his fears and  traumas and let himself be happy?  Will Cassie jump the hurdles putt up by her mom believing men are not worth it?  Will this two be able to be together and face the world and defend and accept they deserve the feelings they have for one another?
